Grateful for Sunshine, Spartacus and Surprises

This week I’m grateful for:

Frosty mornings turning into sunny days, with the opportunity to get some natural vitamin D.

The wonderfully OTT Spartacus – Gods of the Arena. After taking off my smug HBO-coloured glasses I really got into the first season (Blood and Sand) and despite not usually being a fan of prequels, Gods of the Arena did it really well.

Gorgeous surprises from gorgeous people.

Inspiration.

Joe. I allowed someone to make me feel completely worthless yesterday. His assurances that this is not the case helped me  to snap out of it.

Hot showers.

Hot coffee

Hot salty fries.

Choices.

Chances.

Change.

And this quote:

What are you grateful for?

  1. I like you wording : ” I allowed someone to make me feel completely worthless”. It’s really a choice, isn’t it? Glad you found your way back to feeling worthy 🙂

    • Yes Tat! I originally had “Someone made me feel..” but I changed it as I knew that wasn’t the case, it was my choice to let that person’s words make me feel that way, so I chose not to let them!

    • And they often mingle with each other (choice change and chance)! Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Oh wow! That quote! Thank you for sharing! And yep I’m a sucker for hot salty fries too – the make everything better! And hot chocolate! Hope you have a great week! E x

    • They were my salvation on Friday Kelley. Inspired by you. And they were awesome. 🙂
